Accessibility Enhancements
The site has been updated to better support accessibility and readability across devices.
An Updated Visual Identity
As part of this modernization, the LCO has introduced an updated visual identity. The refreshed design reflects the organization’s commitment to clarity, independence, and public accessibility.
The LCO’s mandate, mission, and approach to law reform remain unchanged.
How the New Logo Reflects Our Mandate

The new logo has been designed to visually express the LCO’s role and values.
The three shapes, individually and in combination, form the letters L, C, O and C, D, O, affirming our identity in both English and French. The simple, uncluttered design speaks to our role in helping to clarify and simplify the law. The open centre represents accessibility and our commitment to access to justice. The distinct shapes that come together within the mark reflect the diverse perspectives that inform our law reform process.
